Concurs Vins de Gastronomie, Paris
Following the same pathway, in 2021 we sent a white blend, based on the same variety, Principesa Margareta from 2011, which has also become the winner of an Admirable Dimond, with a score of 89 points.
Principesa Margareta is one of the most complex white Romanian wines, with another floral dimension that gives shape and completes the fruity and glyceric structure of the wine. Aromas of cherries and white plums, vanilla, vines, fresh acacia flowers, lime, and dried flowers. Extensive olfactory path, dominated by freshness.
20% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Gris, 45% Viognier barrique in acacia and oak barrels, 15% Viognier. It is recommended to be served next to seafood, fish dishes, and oyster salad.
This wine collection celebrates nobility and humanity, the noble character of Principesa Margareta, the daughter of King Michael I, being this wine’s inspiration, thanks to her dedication to supporting the young talents of Romania and also the elders.
