Femmes et Vins du Monde 2021

Year by year, we enjoy participating in various international wine competitions, to validate and reassure the quality of our products. Femmes et Vins du Monde, the first French wine competition- with an exclusively women-based judge and recognized by the International Union of Oenologists- brought us three valuable diamonds. Diamond is the symbol of excellence and unbreakable love, just as our awarded wines. These are:

• Minima Moralia- Honesty 2018- A white blend of Viognier and Tămâioasă Românească, with an extremely fresh onset, with green sensations, dominated by citrus (lime, lemon, vine). The influence of acacia barrels is felt both in the light, perfectly integrated notes of vanilla and in the body of the wine, which has become denser and silkier.

• Rare Varieties- Tămâioasa Roză 2020- The only sweet wine produced by Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea, which has become notorious on the market thanks to the unicity of the variety and the unmistakeable redberries and roses aromas. 

• Vardo- Drop of Light- produced by the only Portuguese variety from our vineyard- Touriga Nacional. Eager for sun, he easily found a second home in Segarcea, where the 1440 hours of summer sunshine provide all the conditions to produce a warm, generous, complex wine. The taste harmoniously combines wood and fruit notes.

The wine competition that has already reached its 15th edition is founded by the French Oenologist Regine Le Coz and organized annually by a diverse team with professionals from the vine, wine, and gastronomy sectors from all over the world. So that, we are honored by these distinctions and reassured of the wine’s high quality.
